LifeBurn converts your spending into hours of your life, helping you understand the real cost of every purchase. To deliver this experience, we collect certain data as described below.
This Privacy Policy should be read alongside our Terms of Service and End-User License Agreement (EULA).
Information We Collect
We collect only the information necessary to provide and improve the App:
- Account Information: When you sign up, we collect your email address via Supabase authentication. We do not store passwords on our servers.
- User-Entered Data: Purchases you log, your hourly rate, and any categories or notes you add. This data powers the core experience of the App.
- Usage Analytics: Anonymous information about how you use the App, such as feature interactions, session duration, and screen views. This helps us understand which features matter most.
- Crash Data: Anonymous crash reports to help us identify and fix bugs.
- Purchase Dates: We record the date when you log a purchase, helping you track your spending over time.
- Pro Subscription Status: If you purchase a Pro subscription, we record your subscription status and transaction identifiers (managed through RevenueCat/Apple App Store). We do not store your payment card details.
Information We Do NOT Collect
We deliberately do not collect sensitive or intrusive data:
- No Health Data: We do not collect health, fitness, or medical information.
- No Location Data: We do not access your precise or approximate location.
- No Contacts: We do not access your device contacts or address book.
- No Photos or Media: We do not access your photo library, camera, or media files.
How We Use Your Information
- Core Functionality:To calculate and display the “life cost” of your purchases based on your hourly rate.
- Improve the App: To analyze usage patterns and refine the user experience.
- Fix Bugs: Crash data helps us diagnose and resolve technical issues.
- Customer Support: To respond to your inquiries and provide assistance.

Data Retention
- Account Data: Retained for as long as your account is active, plus a reasonable period afterward to handle any outstanding obligations.

- If you delete your account, your personal data will be removed or anonymized within 30 days.

We implement industry-standard safeguards to protect your data: encrypted transmission via TLS, secure storage using iOS Keychain for authentication tokens, and strict access controls for our team. No system is completely secure, but we are committed to protecting your information.

- Deletion: Request that we delete your data (subject to legal obligations).
